Audition For Miss Beat-Trice
Miss Beat-Trice is an eccentric older woman who proudly delivers “history lessons” in dance, constantly reminding everyone of her supposed influence on the art form. While she claims to be a pioneer who shaped modern dance, she’s also desperate to prove she’s still relevant and in touch with today’s dancers. Her stories often spiral into exaggerated half-truths, and she frequently gets tangled in her own lies while trying to keep up appearances. The character is upbeat, comedic, and high-energy. Miss Beat-Trice is featured annually in Plenty of Rhythm’s showcase to bring humor and heart to the celebration of dance history.
Currently casting leading and supporting roles. No experience required ages 5+
Audition for Brilliant (Background Dancers)
Brilliant is a standout girl/dance group at Plenty of Rhythm’s that embodies confidence, cohesion, and flair. They’re known for sharp choreography, strong stage presence, and vibrant group energy, mixing technique with attitude in every routine and setting a high performance standard for the rest of the cast. This role is perfect for the dancer who will thrive in synchronized group work, bring bold personality to the stage. The dancer should be able to match both precision and performance quality in an ensemble while keeping the energy elevated from start to finish.
Looking for dancers ages 5+. No experience required. Will perform at POR'S Annual Showcase in June.
